Wrenbury Hall Wedding Pianist | Craig Smith Music
Wrenbury Hall Wedding Pianist
Wrenbury Hall in Cheshire is one of the region’s most beautiful country house wedding venues, and wedding pianist Craig Smith regularly provides live piano music there for ceremonies, drinks receptions and wedding breakfasts.
Craig has been the recommended pianist at Wrenbury Hall since 2021 after meeting the venue team at the Country Brides Wedding Award Finals. Since then it has become one of his most frequently booked venues, and he performs at as many of the venue’s open events as his busy wedding and touring schedule allows.
Couples marrying at Wrenbury Hall benefit from Craig’s close working relationship with Davinia, Neil, Katie and the team, meaning the music integrates seamlessly with the running of the day. He also knows well the various toastmasters that tend to lead proceedings on the day at this venue.
With elegant indoor rooms and beautiful outdoor ceremony spaces across the grounds, live piano music complements a Wrenbury Hall wedding perfectly both musically and visually, as shown in the video below.

Your Wrenbury Hall Wedding Piano Music
Craig’s experience at Wrenbury Hall means he knows exactly the best setups for the venue. Over many weddings and open events Craig has refined the best positions for live music and the ways to move the pianos discreetly between them, ensuring the music continues effortlessly throughout the day as the celebration moves from one space to another.
Two pianos are always provided — a portable baby grand in your choice of white or gloss black, and a compact electric piano in white — so the music can move with the guests wherever they may be. On sunny days, as guests tend to spread out in front of the hall, this includes music in the sunshine.
Craig's portable baby grand pianos sit beautifully in the Rose Room or Orangerie for ceremonies and wedding breakfasts, on the lawns for outdoor weddings, and in the drawing room for drinks receptions when the weather doesn't allow for music outside. Music can also welcome guests in the entrance hall or drawing room before the ceremony begins.
In the Orangerie, given it's vast size and high ceiling, a PA system may be included as a part of your booking dependent on your choice of music. The baby grand pianos alone work well for mellow background music, but for songs with a bit more punch, the PA is recommended to avoid the energy being lost in the space.
‘Our guests haven't stopped talking about how amazing Craig was since our wedding. There wasn't a dry eye in house the minute the music started to play.’ - Mr & Mrs Carpenter, Wrenbury Hall, 2025
