Our tuition agency was set up when Craig Smith's popular private tuition practice became overwhelmed with demand. Our vacant one-to-one drum slots are with Mark. His percussion and drum tuition is available from his dedicated home music space (comprising kit, percussion and computer-based tools learning) in Carleton, near Blackpool. Mark also plays bass to practice rhythm section work. He is available to visit clients' homes.

Mark's lessons are currently available 11am-7pm at weekends, and 11am-9pm on Thursday. If these aren't good, let us know and we'll look into the other days for you.Mark teaches from his dedicated music tuition room and is also a mobile teacher, providing home drum tuition anywhere within a 25 mile drive of Poulton-le-Fylde. For those who are local, Mark is based by the Castle Gardens crossroads, Carleton, Poulton-le-Fylde.
Who teaches the lessons? [Top]
Mark is a highly-qualified and experienced drummer and drum tutor, based in Poulton-le-Fylde. As well as his work as our with us, his work includes session drumming and playing drums in live in bands.Mark's drum lessons are usually 60 minutes long: 45 minutes warm up and study, followed by a 15 minute 'free-study' session, during which students can work on whatever they fancy. This all starts at just £22.50 per session.
All of the relevant theory is covered. You'll learn quickly how to read music and, for those who're interested, there's also the opportunity to write your own compositions!
Our teachers have to meet certain criteria before being accepted onto our books: high levels of ability on the instrument(s) to be taught, qualifications in performance and theory of music, and suitable teaching space when they teach from home or a studio. They are asked to provide a CRB disclosure.
